The mission of Rio Grande College of Business (RG COB) is to be a leading provider of experiential business education and serve students at Sul Ross State University and Sul Ross State University International spanning 4 campuses in Alpine, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, and Uvalde as well as online and hybrid modalities.

The College offers Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in Business and Related Management disciplines as well as embedded Certificates that supports the growth of the business student. The College is a member of Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) as well a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The College has an active student honor society (Delta Mu Delta) as well as joint internship programs with various constituencies. The College also supports active international collaboration with Universities in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Mexico.

The College is also actively supported by the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) in nine counties in the greater Rio Grande Valley.

The College is partnered with the City of Eagle Pass for a Business Incubator and Accelerator program to encourage an active ecosystem of start-up businesses.

The Dean of the College is supported by an active Advisory Council comprising of members from Alpine, Eagle Pass business communities.

Students in the programs are currently supported by 12 Full Time Faculty who are actively engaged in impactful student teaching as well as leading edge research.
