My name is Melissa White. I am originally from Wisconsin, now living in El Paso, Texas.  I have spent over 20 years in clinical nursing with more than 17 years as both a Nurse Practitioner. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, primarily in areas of Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.  I completed my PhD from the University of Arizona with a research emphasis in post-stroke cognitive decline and its relationship to a comorbidity burden index.
