The Counseling and Accessiblity services office provides short-term, solution focused, counseling services to Sul Ross State University students, faculty, and staff. We also provide counseling to faculty and staff members family's, as time allows. We also help students set up their academic and housing accommodations.
I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sul Ross in 2001. I followed up with two Master's Degrees, Political Science in 2003 and Counseling in 2010, also from Sul Ross. I have been fully licensed since 2014, I have worked with various populations concentrating primarily with youth and young adults. I utilize congnitive behavioral and solution focused therapy techniques to help client develop solutions to address their concerns.
