Greetings!

I am a proud first-gen college graduate, raised in the vibrant border community of Laredo, Texas/Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. My passion for public service and for access to information are woven throughout my career. Over the past 18 years, I have worked for State agencies such as Texas A&M International University, the Briscoe Center for American History at UT Austin, the Secretary of State’s Elections Division, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and, most recently, the Center for Big Bend Studies (entering my fourth year with Sul Ross). I’m thrilled and excited to work with departments across the SRSU community, build rapport, and enhance student experience.
