I find joy and wonder in the intricacies of cellular biology, the complexities of anatomy, the patterns of ecology, and the surprising behavior of animals. I marvel at the interconnectedness of all living systems and hope to be a humble student of nature. I am concerned about the biosphere and the human impacts on habitats and ecosystems worldwide, and I find permaculture and "doughnut economics" to be powerful frameworks for abundance-based solutions. I'm a grateful father of 4 and a happy husband. Recently I moved to Utah to teach for Utah State University but am continuing as an adjunct with SRSU for a couple of courses. I am grateful for what SRSU faculty, staff and students taught me during my time in Del Rio.
