I was born and raised in the Winter Garden area of Southwest Texas. I attended and graduated from Carrizo Springs High School, Southwest Texas Junior College, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Education is not just a profession for me, it's a passion. My journey in education has been a living testimony of "Si Se Puede."
Currently, I work at Crystal City Independent School District, where I serve as an art teacher and teach dual-credit courses. "Thinking with the End in Mind", my goal is to complete a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at the University of Texas - San Antonio and be a full-time professor at a university.
Education is the key to success, and I am dedicated to the future of Southwest Texas and the United States of America.
