MTH 1342

MTH 1342 (MATH 1342) Elementary Statistical Methods (3-0). This course introduces the fundamental concepts and methods of descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics include measures of central tendency and variability, probability distributions, sampling, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, and analysis of variance. Students will apply statistical techniques to real-world data and develop the ability to interpret and communicate statistical results. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and the application of technology to analyze data.
