ANTH 3301 History of Anthropological Thought (3-0). This course will take a deep dive into the history of and changes within the four fields of anthropology (Biological, Sociocultural, Linguistic, Archaeological) over their development. Major schools such as Culture History and Post-Modernism will be discussed, along with key thinkers and their contributions. Students will learn how anthropology fits among the sciences and how the field has changed with the times.
