CJ 3370 Law & Society (3-0). An analysis of the American criminal justice system; an overview of the history, philosophy, and contemporary functions of the separate institutions which contribute to the process; the police, courts, corrections, and juvenile justice systems will be examined for their contributions, assumptions, and interrelations. Equivalent courses CRIM 3370; CRIM 3304 (through summer 2023).
