EDSR 4308

EDSR 4308 The Teaching of Reading (3-0). Intensive study of the foundations of oral language development, reading readiness, beginning reading, remedial reading, reading assessment, reading devices, and the use of audiovisual aids in reading instruction. Topics presented in this course will provide an understanding of reading pedagogy, best practices for reading assessment, and foundational skills for reading development.
