ANTH 5302 Research Methods in Anthropology I: Research Design (3-0). This seminar provides a detailed overview of developing research designs in anthropology. The course covers philosophy of science, the scientific method, research designs for academic and cultural resource management projects, Wester and non-Western research, community engagement, public outreach, and different forms of dissemination. The objective of this course is to prepare students to develop their own research design as part of their MA project.
