SPAN 5315 Culture and Civilization of Latin America (3-0). This course aims to give an overview of some of the major trends in the Latin America history, literature, and culture from ancient times to present. It emphasizes the issues of gender, class, race, and the construction of national identities in a Spanish speaking world.
