Athletics Compliance Committee

About the Committee

The key to a successful athletic compliance program is to have the involvement of the entire Sul Ross campus community. Serving at the pleasure of the Athletics Compliance Officer, members of the Athletics Compliance Committee must recognize their role and responsibilities to ensure that they behave in an ethical manner when managing all NCAA compliance issues for all SRSU student athletes. This committee will develop a process to monitor and systematically address any significant risks or infractions. This process will be ongoing, continuously updated, and includes:

  • Work together to ensure compliance in all departments under the NCAA division three guidelines.
  • Review compliance cases in LSDBi and discuss how we can prevent these issues at Sul Ross.
  • Monitor and report compliance violations.
  • Discuss the self-report due every five years.
