Purpose
The purpose of the Disciplinary Hearing Team is to hear those cases in which the accused student disputes the facts upon which the charges made by the University are based. Such charges will be heard and determined by the Disciplinary Hearing Team or by the Vice President of Student Affairs, but not by both.

Note: Rio Grande College handles disciplinary cases in the Vice President’s Office in conjunction with the Vice President’s Advisory Committee.
