When applying for admission to a graduate certification program with the SRSU Department of Education, you will not upload documents in ApplyTexas.org. Instead, once you have been contacted by SRSU Admissions, you will receive instructions via e-mail about submitting documents to the Admissions Department. Please note: the admissions process is not instantaneous. Meaning, it could take several business days for your application to be processed and for you to be admitted to the university. Only when you have been fully admitted to Sul Ross State University as a graduate student in the Department of Education will you receive the Welcome email with Certification Program Application instructions from the Department Chair.
Due to this delay, you will not be able to submit documents to SRSU Admissions the same day you submit the ApplyTexas application. Therefore, we recommend that you submit your ApplyTexas application, and the rest of the requirements listed step-by-step (e.g. transcripts), well in advance of the program’s deadline.
