DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

The General Master of Education (MEd) degree allows graduate students to hone their writing and research skills and knowledge in their chosen area of specialization. Coursework is customized for the individual student and can range from pedagogy in higher education to history, English, mathematics, and other subjects.

Graduates may find career opportunities as high school dual credit teachers, district office curriculum specialists, college instructors, and leaders in the private sector.

Please note that the General Education MEd does not lead to any TEA certification.

If you are ready to take the next step in your career, Sul Ross State University can help get you there with a General Education MEd.
