Community Service and Civic Engagement is about working to make a difference in the civic life of our communities and developing the knowledge, skills, values, and motivation to make a difference. The Office of Civic Engagement and Student Assistance hosts a variety of programs and events, including volunteer opportunities and voter engagement opportunities, to facilitate student engagement with the community.

- Volunteers over the age of 21 are needed to help advocate for children experiencing neglect and abuse.
- Keep Alpine Beautiful
- Join Keep Alpine Beautiful for a monthly community clean up.
- Lobo Pantry
- Volunteers are needed to assist with the Lobo Pantry each week. Complete the volunteer application to be considered to volunteer.
- Museum of the Big Bend
- Volunteers needed.
- Sunshine House
- Volunteers are needed to help deliver meals for the Meals on Wheels Program.
