Dr. Diana Rodriguez is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. She holds a master’s degree from Sul Ross State University and a Doctor of Education degree with a focus on Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Northeastern University. Her academic background has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of teaching and learning from a global perspective.
Dr. Rodriguez's research centers on improving the transition of teacher candidates into K-12 classrooms. With 10 years of experience preparing prospective teachers, she has made significant contributions to the field of teacher education. She is certified in Early Childhood through 4th Grade Core Subjects, 4th through 8th Grade Core Subjects, and 7th through 12th Grade English Language Arts. Over the course of her career, she has taught 4th Grade English Language Arts and Science, 6th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies, 7th and 8th Grade Science, and 7th through 12th Grade English Language Arts across various school districts.
Recently, Dr. Rodriguez completed certification through the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Program at the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a member of the Global Anthology (Blackboard Learn) Faculty Advisory Board, contributing to the advancement of digital education tools and platforms.
Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about empowering individuals to become lifelong learners and is dedicated to fostering innovative approaches to education.
