CINE 1325 Introduction to Cinema Studies (3-0). This course serves as an introductory course in film theory and criticism with some global cinema perspectives. The course centers on viewing films as literature and promotes understanding the 'story within the story.' Students will write responses to films screened in class using the formal qualities of cinema as a basis for critique.
