HST 4305

HST 4305 History of Modern Asia (3-0) The focus of this course is East Asia, that is, the Confucian societies of China, Korea, Vietnam, and Japanese model. The course begins with the late traditional era and proceeds to the present. Basic historiographical issues are introduced.
