EDSR 4313 Reading Comprehension & Enrichment (3-0). An intense course for the development and teaching of phonics, vocabulary, structural analysis, context clues to enhance comprehension for all readers. This course will prepare students to provide multisensory instruction and culturally responsive intervention in the following reading areas: vocabulary development, critical-analytical reading, research based strategies, and metacognition approaches to assist with understanding literacy texts and informational texts. Includes field experience. Prerequisites: ED/EDUA/EDUC/EDSR 3308 & ED/EDUA/EDUC/EDSR 4308. Equivalent courses: EDUC 4313 (through Summer 2022), EDUA 4313
