Thomas Matula has been with Sul Ross State University since 2016. Both his Ph.D. and MBA are from New Mexico State University. Dr. Matula’s teaches courses in management, economics and general business. A pioneer on online teaching Dr. Matula developed one of the first online MBAs at National University in 1998. In 2001 while at the University of Houston-Victoria he was part of the team that created the first online MBA accredited by the AASCB. Dr. Matula has numerous publications in the fields of space commerce, marketing, strategy and online education. While at New Mexico State University he was part of the Southwest Regional Spaceport Task Force (now Spaceport America). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Space Renaissance International and with the Space Renaissance Academy.
