Definition of Professional Development
Professional development is a program of activities and events that provides for and contributes to the personal and professional improvement of employees. Professional development opportunities are for all employees on all campuses in all job categories.
Goals of Pack First: Professional Development
Putting the Pack First will lead to better faculty and staff retention and better relationships with our students and communities.
- to identify needs and develop resources for promoting personal and professional growth on our campuses.
- to coordinate, promote, and assess professional development at SRSU.
Achieving the goals of the Pack First Professional Development Plan will create a culture of more engaged and informed employees.
