I am a Visiting Professor and Grazing Specialist with the Department of Natural Sciences and the Borderlands Research Institute at Sul Ross State University. I teach courses focused on grazing management, rangeland ecology, and range improvements. My research for 30 years focused on sustainable grazing strategies, livestock production, and the management and improvement of rangelands. Through my time as a research I had an emphasis on developing practical approaches that benefit both livestock production and healthy rangeland ecosystems.
