Supplemental Financial Aid Application for Summer 2022 (SAS22)
SRSU Title IV School Code: 003625
Summer financial aid is available to assist you with your summer educational expenses. However, there is limited funding for some types of aid such as grants, work-study, and student loans (depending on your annual and aggregate loan limits). Since institutional funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, it is extremely important you complete and submit your application as soon as possible. We will return any incomplete / unsigned forms for correction.
- You need a 2021-2022 FAFSA on file – deadline to submit this application is June 30, 2022. If you do not have a 2021-2022 FAFSA on file with SRSU’s school code please visit https://fafsa.ed.gov and submit a 2021-2022 FAFSA to include SRSU’s school code (003625) by June 30, 2022. You will not be eligible to receive any Federal or Institutional aid if you do not submit a 2021-2022 FAFSA by June 30, 2022.
- You must be a degree-seeking student at Sul Ross State University and enrolled in an eligible program. Transient students and non-degree/professional certification seeking students are not eligible for aid.
- You must be enrolled at least half-time (six hours) to be considered for Federal and Institutional aid. This might also be true for some Pell Grant recipients. For Texas Grant Recipients, you must be enrolled in at least nine hours.
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. Please check your financial aid status via Lobo Online after May 17, 2022 to view your financial aid status.
Your Financial Aid will be applied to your student account at the beginning of the term in which you have reached at least six hours of enrollment. The chart below shows during which term you can expect to receive your aid based on your enrollment during the summer.
