BOOK ADVANCE/VOUCHER
Sul Ross now has two methods for you to purchase books if you have remaining financial aid funds after paying off all tuition/fees and room/meal plan charges.
Sul Ross has partnered with Akademos, an online bookstore, where books can be purchased using a book voucher.
–Book Advance: you can request funds from your pending refund to pay for books from any bookstore of your choice. The funds will go to your bank account if you are signed up for direct deposit through your lobo-online. If you are not set up for direct deposit, a paper check will be mailed to the address you have on file.
–Book Voucher: you can request up to the cost of your books and supplies as long as your remaining financial aid funds are enough to cover that amount. The requested funds will not be refunded directly to you, but will be transferred to Akademos for purchase of books and supplies.
