Overview
The Lobo Promise Program functions as a supplemental financial aid initiative designed to bridge the gap between the total cost of tuition and mandatory fees and the amount covered by state and federal grants. While federal and state grants may cover a portion of educational expenses, they often leave a remaining balance that students are responsible for paying out of pocket. The Lobo Promise Scholarship aims to fill this financial gap, ensuring that eligible first-time freshmen and new transfer students receive the necessary support to attend Sul Ross State University without the burden of unmet tuition costs. This program enhances accessibility to higher education for students in need by providing additional financial resources.
