FINR 5302   Intro to Economics & Finance   FINR 5302 Introduction to Economics and Finance (3-0). This is a leveling course for the MBA Program to prepare students for FINA\FINR 5306. Students will learn the basic principles of economics with a focus on their application to business and finance. The course will cover money and capital markets along with a broad view of the entire financial field with special emphasis on discounted cash flow analysis, stock and bond valuation models, financial statement analysis, capital budgeting, cost of capital, and working capital management. Credit will not be awarded if the student has already taken ECOA 2301, ECONA 2302 and FINA\FINR 3340 or their equivalent.

GBAR 5330   Cyber Risk & Assurance Stratg.   GBAR 5330 Cyber Risk and Assurance Strategy (3-0). This course explores the strategic frameworks and methodologies essential for protecting digital assets and managing cybersecurity risks in organizations. Students will learn to design and implement comprehensive security strategies, assess vulnerabilities, and respond to evolving cyber threats. Emphasis is placed on aligning security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements in today's complex digital landscape.  
GBAR 5336   Government Contracting   GBAR 5336 Government Contracting (3-0). This course will focus on the contracting process used by the federal and foreign governments for purchasing goods and services with an emphasis on the aerospace industry. The various types of contracts used, including cost plus, fixed price and open-ended, will be discussed. The role of the federal government in stimulating research and development in the aerospace industry using various types of incentive contracts will be explored. The focus will be on the procurement process used by the United States government but will also include sales made to foreign governments.

Students will also learn how marketing metrics are a quantifiable way to track performance and are an important marketing measurement tool for gauging a campaign's effectiveness.
