At SRSU we strive to learn and understand more about our students, faculty and staff. IR conducts institutional surveys and assists SRSU departments in survey development, design and analysis.
Faculty/Course Evaluations
All students are invited to answer questions about each course they enrolled in and rate the faculty performance on each course. The survey is conducted every semester for all courses.
Evaluation results can be found under the faculty’s directory page.

Campus Environment Survey
This annual survey asks students, faculty, staff, and administrators to participate in anonymously answering questions about work-life balance, discrimination/fair treatment, communication, organization/leadership, and other factors influencing living, working, and learning environments currently available at SRSU.
This survey was developed by the SRSU Guiding Coalition, a university-wide committee whose objective is to measure several important aspects of living and working within the university. The Campus Environment Survey was also reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB), who ensures research at SRSU is conducted following ethical principles and in compliance with federal, state and university regulations governing research activity.
IPEDS
IPEDS is a survey conducted annually that gathers data from every college, university, and technical and vocational institution that participates in the federal student financial aid programs.

- Institutional requirements and the challenging nature of coursework;
- Perceptions of the college environment;
- Estimates of educational and personal growth since starting college; and
- Background and demographic information.
Trellis

RNL
The Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) is an original instrument in the RNL Satisfaction-Priorities Surveys family.
